Which carriers does it work with?
The built-in multi-carrier SIM automatically connects to the strongest available signal among AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. You don't choose a carrier - it picks the best one at your location automatically.
Does it have pan / tilt control like the RV 4G camera?
TravelCam does not have remote pan or tilt. It's a fixed-angle camera designed for portability and long battery life. For pan control, see the Waggle RV 4G Mini Camera. TravelCam's advantage is its compact size, 45-day battery, and magnetic mount for quick repositioning anywhere.
How long does the battery actually last?
30–45 days under typical use - smart recording conserves battery by only capturing events rather than continuous footage. Actual battery life depends on how often motion is detected and how frequently you stream live. You can also add the optional solar panel for unlimited runtime in outdoor locations.
Can I use it inside a boarding facility?
Yes - TravelCam runs entirely on 4G and doesn't need the facility's Wi-Fi. Give it to the staff to place in your pet's suite and you'll have live video access from anywhere. We recommend confirming with the facility that external cameras are permitted before your pet's stay.
Is there a difference between TravelCam and the Waggle RV 4G Camera?
Both use 4G cellular and the Waggle app. The key differences: the RV 4G Camera has 300° remote pan control, making it easier to cover the full interior of an RV. TravelCam has a fixed angle but a more compact, portable form factor with a magnetic mount - designed to move with you across cars, Airbnbs, campgrounds, and boarding facilities.
