Does the Waggle Pet Monitor work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. It's a cellular temperature monitor with built-in 4G connectivity, so it works without Wi-Fi - ideal for RV travel, road trips and off-grid use. The SIM connects to whichever of three carriers has the strongest signal where you're parked.
What happens if my RV loses power or the AC fails?
The monitor sends an immediate alert so you can act before your pet is at risk. It keeps running on its backup battery for up to 120 hours and tells you the moment shore power drops.
Is a subscription required?
Yes - the monitor has its own cellular line, which is what lets it reach you when there's no Wi-Fi and no phone in the vehicle. There's no contract and you can cancel any time from the app. The yearly plan works out at $16.58 a month.
What alerts does it provide?
Instant alerts for high or low temperature, humidity changes, RVSentry geofence activity and power loss. Add multiple people - a partner, a neighbour, the campground office - and everyone gets the alert at the same time.
I'm getting false power-loss alerts. How do I stop them?
Most common setup issue, and it's one setting: open Device → Power alerts in the app and turn on "ignore brief interruptions". That filters the momentary dips when a generator or shore connection cycles. If it persists, support will walk through it with you.
How often does it check the temperature?
Every ten minutes, continuously. If a reading crosses your threshold, the alert goes out immediately rather than waiting for the next interval.
Will it fit my vehicle?
It mounts with a peel-and-stick bracket and needs no wiring, so it works in any RV, trailer, van or car. Owners use it in 5th wheels, Class A and B motorhomes, and in cars with portable AC units running.
Why would I need Pro⁺ Satellite?
Your Waggle Pet Monitor relies on cellular connectivity to send alerts. When you’re camping or storing your RV somewhere with little or no cellular service, those alerts may not reach you.
Satellite adds a satellite backup connection, helping your critical alerts get through when cellular coverage isn’t available.
What is the most important benefit of Pro⁺ Satellite?
Satellite helps close the gap between monitoring your RV and actually receiving the critical alert when cellular coverage isn’t available.
Does Pro⁺ Satellite guarantee that I will always receive an alert?
Satellite is designed to provide a satellite backup when cellular connectivity is unavailable, but alert delivery can be affected by satellite availability, device connectivity, battery status, and the product’s alert limitations.
