We just wrapped up an incredible week in Tampa at the 2026 Florida RV SuperShow, and "super" doesn’t even begin to cover it. Held from January 14th to 18th at the Florida State Fairgrounds, this event is often called "The Greatest RV Show on Earth," and this year it absolutely lived up to the hype.
For the Waggle team, it wasn’t just about the massive crowds or the shiny new rigs; it was about connecting with our community. We had the chance to meet thousands of you face-to-face, and the stories you shared with us reaffirmed exactly why we do what we do.
A Show for the Record Books
The energy this year was electric. We were one of more than 3,000 booths spread across the fairgrounds. The foot traffic was non-stop, with an average of 20,000 visitors every single day.
From the latest EV-powered travel trailers to luxury Class A motorcoaches, the innovation on display was inspiring. But the highlight for us was our booth. It was fantastic to meet so many existing Waggle users who stopped by just to say "hello" and share their experiences.
Real Stories, Real Saves
While we love talking about specs and features, nothing beats hearing how Waggle performs in the real world. Two stories we heard this week stood out above the rest, reminding us that a pet monitor isn't just a gadget—it’s a lifesaver.
1. The Shore Power "Sprinkler" Incident
One pet parent stopped by to tell us about a freak accident that could have gone wrong very quickly. They were parked at a campsite when a rogue lawn sprinkler malfunctioned and soaked their shore power pedestal. The water damage caused an immediate short circuit, killing power to their RV.
Because the Waggle Pet Monitor operates on its own built-in 4G cellular network and battery backup, it didn't go offline when the RV lost power. Instead, it instantly sent a Power Loss Alert to the owner’s phone. They were able to rush back, fix the power situation, and ensure the A/C kept running before the temperature inside could spike.
2. The Remote Campground Rescue
Another story came from a couple who were enjoying a day trip far away from their campsite. Suddenly, they received a Waggle alert: Power Failure.
Being too far away to get back in time, they immediately called the campground office. Because they got the alert the second the power went out, the campground staff had enough time to go to the site, enter the RV, and retrieve the pets before the interior became unsafe. Without that real-time notification, they wouldn't have known anything was wrong until they returned hours later.
Why We Love the RV Community
Beyond the stories, the logistics of the show were perfect for us. We stayed on the grounds, which made the mornings easy and the evenings fun—connecting with neighbors and experiencing the "RV village" life firsthand.
Overall, the 2026 Florida SuperShow was a massive win for Waggle. We left Tampa with tired feet, full hearts, and a renewed commitment to keeping your pets safe on every adventure.
See you on the road!
