Pet Monitor Lite+: Your Complete Setup & User Guide

This guide covers your Pet Monitor Lite+ setup. Learn to set up and use your device. We include tips for long-term battery care. This starts from its first charge.

What's in the Box?

When you unbox your Pet Monitor Lite+, you'll find:

• Pet Monitor Lite+ — the main device
• Mounting Bracket — for attaching to any flat surface
• AC Adapter — for wall charging
• USB Cable — for connecting to the adapter

Charging Your Monitor

Plug the Pet Monitor Lite+ in using the USB cable and AC adapter. The LED indicator will glow RED while charging and turn GREEN once fully charged.

Normal charging can take up to 24 hours. This slow rate is intentional — it minimises internal heating and improves the accuracy of temperature readings.

Turning the Monitor On/Off

• Battery Mode: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to turn the monitor on or off.
• Charger Connected: Press the ON/OFF button once to wake the LCD display.

If "Searching for Network" appears after pressing the button, the monitor is in a low-signal area. Readings will return once connectivity is restored.

1. Download the Waggle Pet App from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the app and tap "Sign Up".
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to register your monitor using the QR code on the back of the device.

Remove the mounting bracket before scanning — the QR code is on the back of the monitor.

Subscribe & Activate

Once registered, tap "Activate" to purchase a plan. It may take up to 24 hours for the monitor to fully activate. After setup, allow up to 1 hour for the monitor to calibrate.

Mounting the Monitor

1. Peel the plastic sticker off the back of the mounting bracket.
2. Press the bracket firmly onto any flat, clean surface.
3. Hold the bracket upright and slide the monitor in from the bottom.
4. Push the top of the monitor until it clicks and locks in place.

RapidCharge: Full Charge in 2 Hours

RapidCharge fully charges your Pet Monitor Lite++ in approximately 2 hours, compared to up to 24 hours with normal charging.

How to Activate RapidCharge

1. Plug in the charger. The monitor will display: "Press to Activate RapidCharge."
2. Press the button within 10 seconds.
3. The screen will show "Alerts will be disabled for 2 hours." When prompted with "Press again to confirm," press the button to activate.

How RapidCharge Works

• Charging runs for approximately ~1 hour, followed by a 45-minute Cooling Time.
• Temperature and humidity alerts are paused for the full 2-hour period.
• Monitoring resumes automatically after the Cooling Time ends.
• Unplugging early does not skip or shorten the Cooling Time.

The monitor enters normal charging mode. This happens if no button is pressed within 10 seconds. To switch to RapidCharge, unplug the charger. Wait one full minute. Then plug it back in. Follow the prompt.

Pet monitoring is temporarily unavailable during the 2-hour RapidCharge period. Normal charging is recommended for routine use and extended battery life.

What the Pet Monitor Lite+ Monitors

• Temperature — live readings displayed on the LCD and in the app
• Humidity — real-time relative humidity tracking
• Battery Level — visible on the LCD display
• Network Signal — shown on the LCD display
• Power Loss Alert — notifies you when outlet power is lost for more than 30 seconds

Power Loss Alert

The Lite+ sends a power outage alert if no outlet power is detected for 30 seconds. This short delay prevents false alerts from brief power interruptions.

For uninterrupted operation, keep the monitor connected to a charger at all times. The internal backup battery lasts approximately 1 day when power is lost.

Temperature Accuracy Tips

• After a steep temperature change (10°C / 18°F), give the monitor up to 15 minutes to stabilise.
• Keep the sensor cavity free of dust, moisture, and debris — blockages can affect the accuracy of temperature and humidity readings.
• Allow up to 1 hour for the monitor to calibrate after initial setup.

Battery Care

Taking care of your battery extends the life of your monitor:

• In use: Let the battery fully drain for 24 hours every 3 months to maintain battery health.
• Not in use: Charge the monitor at least once a month.
• Charging time: Full charge takes up to 24 hours — the slow rate protects the battery and improves sensor accuracy.

Claiming Your Warranty

Open the Waggle Pet App → go to Profile > Warranty → select the product → tap Claim Warranty.

Warranty & Returns

• 1-year limited warranty from the date of shipment
• Warranty does not cover physical damage or misuse
• Batteries are not covered under warranty
• To return or replace, email support@mywaggle.com to get an RMA (Return Material Authorization) before shipping
• Returns: You may return your Lite+ within 21 days of delivery for a refund (minus applicable shipping and restocking fees)
• Warranty replacements: Waggle covers shipping costs entirely; your replacement ships as soon as the return is in transit
